Notice the picture: a lamp for your feet, a light for your path. Not a floodlight that shows the whole road, but a lamp that shows the next step. God's Word is enough light for the obedient, not enough for the curious. He gives you light to take the next faithful step, and trusts that you will trust Him with the steps after that. Read it. Walk in it. The path becomes clear one step at a time.
Father, Your Word is enough. I do not need to see the whole road. Show me the next step today. Light my way through Scripture. Make me a doer of Your Word, not a hearer only.
