BSBThe name of the LORD is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.
In ancient cities, the strong tower was the last refuge — when the walls fell, the people ran inside. The name of the Lord is your strong tower. Not your money. Not your friends. Not your competence. His name. The righteous run TO it — they don't run FROM enemies; they run to the One who is mightier. When the enemy comes, you do not have to be stronger than him. You only have to be inside the Tower.
Lord, the world is shaking. The threats are real. I run to You — Your name is my strong tower. Hide me in You. Defend me. I am safe in Your name.
The name of the Lord is a strong tower; I run to it and am safe.
